Boeing 737 NG airplanes probably aren’t safe

The expression on her face says it all.

High level management at the world’s largest airplane manufacturer have been trying to alert the government, the NTSB and the FAA about ill fitting parts on crucial structural components on the 737 Next Generation since 2003. They’ve repeatedly hit a brick wall. Given no choice they’ve turned whistleblower.

After investigating Ducommun, the contractor who makes the questionable parts for Boeing, they found staggering malpractice and a culture of silence about known quality production issues, including documentary evidence of panels and joints which are supposed to be precision cut by computer being made by hand.

They also encountered dodgy deals and cover-ups going to the highest level of the Justice Department. This is their story.

Ensure your seats are in the upright position and kiss your arse goodbye.
